I am a photographer, artist and art & science teacher at primary schools in the Netherlands. My education as a fine art photographer was at the Royal Academy in The Hague. I shoot jpg/sooc with the Fujifilm x100v or the xe4 with self-made lenses.

The creative process is not linear, nor centric. The loose pieces are released bit by bit and I am happy with each piece. In the other room the puzzle is already finished, but it is always there and not with you.
The next step from my 'Unseen' approach is actually a step back. It should contain fewer images and of one place. How beautiful it is to combine this with my assignment as a city photographer of Zaanstad! Follow the ALBUM-THE UNSEEN CITY
It is a process. I think #4 in particular is successful, but it could be a bit rawer, less polished and more experimental. To be continued...
I was a bit behind in posting photos. Something was holding me back and now I know what.
The series 'The Unseen 2025' forced itself on me unconsciously, and today (after some frustration) I made the first sequence.
Why do we take pictures... often to create a touch of memory to relive a moment; something I avoided in my fine art photography. Or not...? When I look back, the signs were already there. It was only a matter of time.
